Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being utilized. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as rewards, or made using crafting materials. In addition to providing attribute bonuses Upgrade items also be cosmetically beneficial.
Infusions, inscriptions and enhancements are a type of upgrade components. They are not generally accessible to the general public and are only available on equipment that is ascended or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, as well as enrichments can be retrieved from equipment by using an Infusion Extraction Device. They can also be salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
In contrast to other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still connected to the item they are upgrading, and they can be reused after being salvaged. These upgrade items are the most effective option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium because they can increase the item's chance of receiving an upgrade by two times.

Upgrade components can be added to an item but the old one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade the weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade, the item will be referred to as it would appear on the game screen (for example adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can only own up to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a great addition to any product. They offer unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases the power of the item. These glyphs are available through the dungeons and some even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It is important to note that glyphs can only be used by characters who have created a dungeon that has the same depth.
To use a Glyph you first need to create it using components and then connect them using anchors. Then, the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph from components, you can create it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element close to a highlighted component to lock it in place.
item upgrades require certain requirements to be met, such as 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a certain number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which could be a bit difficult to achieve. Certain glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs are available for various items, and are added to all weapons except for weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs have conditional requirements, such as having a certain amount of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a particular area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the chance of preventing enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has a 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.
There are also a handful of glyphs that could be applied to tools that are limited-use like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are particularly useful for classes with a range like Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. When the reroll occurs they are discarded. Reroll tokens can be gained in a variety of ways, such as through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials because they let players play a reroll of rewards from the chest at the end.
For items at the level 1 there are recycling points. When recycle an item, it will add a specific number of points to the upgrade gauge. This value scales based on the item's level and rarity. The upgraded item will also not retain its level if rerolled and the cost to recycle an upgraded item increases when its level increases.
Another option is to use reroll tokens to reroll an upgrade item however, this won't return the item to its original level or give it its original stats. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
Three different kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game: the reroll, the randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example, come in three types that are rare, legendary and enhanced. Each level requires an item from the level in order to create a new item of the same quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select a type of token. The tokens that are available are Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a brand new Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token produces a new weapon belonging to the same faction.
The item can be upgraded to a different item that has similar stats, but at a higher level. This is likely to happen if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
